Today was a new day.

Awhile back I made a post about myself questioning my salvation. I ended up deleting it. But this week was difficult. More difficult than usual. Satan took it to a whole different level. It wasn't so much about my salvation but just making myself miserable. My family could tell something was wrong. Every little thing made me angry, I would blow up for no reason. I was so excited about Christmas but then Satan took away that joy. He was attacking me and I felt like I had nothing to defend myself with. I finally talked to my mom about everything. And today I told myself I would get back in the habit of reading my bible everyday. I would get focused on God and only God. So today I did just that, I got up and opened my bible. And today was a better day. I felt comfort and peace. I just wanted to let all ya'll know that it got rocky for awhile and I'm sure it's not all over yet ,but today was a better day. An if all of ya'll would keep me in your prayers.

Hey! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! I have just been so busy with school and christmas! I attempted to write a post this afternoon and it just deleted itself twice as I was in the process of finishing it! Ugh. I was very upset. And it was one of those post where you just take a thought and run with it. So I couldn't just keep rewriting it. Oh well. I hope to make a fun post soon! Just as soon as I find time!

What's one thing that you want for Christmas?

Camera talk

I have realized that most teen bloggers want to become photographers. And most bloggers have a camera or use their mom or dad's camera. Since I have had this blog for a few months I have realized that a camera would be very useful. Plus this month we are doing a lot with my youth group at church. Such as going to see christmas lights, concert, etc. So the camera would also be useful for this as well. I have started looking but I just don't really know what camera would be the best. So I was hoping that ya'll could help me out.

Okay, I have decided that I would go with Nikon. And I have found the following digital compact cameras.

I had first found this one. And since my favorite color is purple I thought it was perfect. It has 16 megapixles and 12x zoom.  But there were no reviews. And when I looked into it more. I then realize this camera  was just released in November and it is not available in the US. :( But do you think I should wait until it comes out? So I then found this one. The Nikon Coolpix L 610. Which is the same price as the other one. It has 16 mega pixels and 14x zoom. It had four reviews and all gave 5 stars. It runs on AA Batteries instead of a charger. You can see it here.

Then the other day while we were at Walmart I looked at the cameras. And I saw this one. It's the Nikon Coolpix L810. This camera has 16.1 mega pixels and 26x zoom. It was on sale for $199. I can get the 610 on sale for $179. But out of 83 reviews only 54 gave it 5 stars. You can see this one here.



 This is the Nikon Coolpix  P510 with 16.1 mega pixles and 42x zoom! Which is pretty cool. But I wouldn't use that much zoom at all. So with that said would this really be worth it? You can view it here. With all the sales for Christmas going on it would be $350.
 

Okay so I need you guys and gals opinion! I was going to spend up to $250 on a camera since I don't plan on being a photographer or anything, but as you can see the last one is $350. I really wouldn't want to go over $300 hands down. So please comment below with some advice! :)

I hate when I go out in public and siblings (or in this case sisters) put down one another for no reason. It's like they do it on purpose just to show off in front of their friends. Well let me tell you something....its NOT cool. It's hateful. I do fight with my sisters sometimes. But why would I do it in front of everyone? That's not their buisness. So please don't put one another down. God put them in your life for a reason. :)

Goodbye November

I have decided to start making a post on the last day of every month. I got the idea from a girl's blog that I follow. But she mostly talks about makeup; I want to expand to movies, books, games, music, apps etc. Just basically anything that I have enjoyed this month.

1. Working Hands. In the winter my hands get really dry and cracked and if I don't use the right lotion I get really bad rashes. If your hands get dry and cracked, I would highly recommend this. YOu can find this at Atwoods.  I perfer the one on the right because for some reason it's thinner and mosturizes better. The other one feels a lot thicker and takes forever to dry.

2. Wreck it Ralph. I would definetley recommend this movie! It is one of my favorite animated movies . Although, if you have a sibling around 2-5 years old I would say this isn't the best one for younger kids to see. But that's just my opinon.

3. Christmas at Harringtons by Melody Carlson. I really enjoyed this book. I read it for a book report. Melody Carlson is a christian author and she has a bunch of books. She has written many series as well.

4. Puzzle. I bought this puzzle at Hobby Lobby to work on over Thanksgiving. One thing I love about is the fact it has hidden images in it. This does make it a more difficult puzzle because there are straight edges that go around the letters. So don't freak out when your border is complete and you still have left over straight edge pieces.

5. Letters. Oh, how I love hand written letters! My frien and I recently decided to start writing hand written letters instead of emailing. And I have to admitt it is a lot more fun!

6. Britt Nicole Gold. This music video just came out yesterday and I thought it was really good! I couldn't find it on youtube so you can go to her website and watch it here.

So what do ya'll think? Should I do a post like this every month?

My Thanksgiving Week

I decided to start crocheting a scarf. But before I started I had to roll up all my yarn.

So I rolled and rollled and rolled.

I also had a history test this week.

And did lots and lots of school.

So the whole time I was studying for my test and working on school, I was able to cope knowing in a few days I would be able to see my Uncle and Aunt!

Today I completed all the levels to my favorite game.

My Aunt and Uncle brought their puppy! His name is Toby.

He says Hi!

"Look what I can do!"

He wanted me to play with him.



So of course I accepted the challenge.

Be a role model.

A while back I made a post about my video techer, Mrs. Schmuck. I can't begin to put in words how cheerful and inspiring this Christian woman was. I have her again this year for English. Today she got teary, eyed talking about how God watches over us. Over the two years I have watched her on video and she has truly been an inspiration to me. Or in other words a role model. At the Pensacola Christian Academy you can go meet your video teachers. You can also go on the A Beka website and email them. I wish I would've had the chance to meet her. And someday I will in heaven. When she got emotinal in class today it really hit me that she has died. It's hard to even wrap my mind around. Especially when I see her in video every day. What I want for whomever is reading this is that you will strive to be a role model. Even simply smiling everyday. Being cheerful and friendly.
A cheerful heart is good medicene. Proverbs 17:22

A trip to the spill way

Yesterday we went out to my Mamaw and Papaw's house. We then got to all pile up in a jeep that my Dad and Papaw have been fixing up and drive it to the spill way!

Just Think

Today I went to the airport with my Papa to pick up my Aunt Andi. My mom said before we left "Now girls, don't talk your Papa's ear off" and of course are reply was,  " Yes Ma'm." So I played hangman with my twin sister and then I just sat and looked out my car door window. One thing that absolutely fascinates me is clouds. I love watching clouds. I don't like a sky without clouds. The clouds I saw today were very close to the ground, and some looked like cotton candy torn and thrown into the sky. I loved watching the planes leave streaks across the sky. And I literally sat there for thirty minutes just staring out of my window in absolute amazment. Usually I just talk and never stop, but it was so nice to sit and observe and just let my mind drift across whatever thought it wanted too. Thinking is so peacful. And when I say thinking I mean effortless thinking. Not the same kind when you would take a nine-weeks exam. I could sit there and think "How great is my God." I finally understood what my teachers were talking about when they say evolutinist look at the world through blurred glasses, but creationist have completely clear glasses. I just want to encourage whomever is reading this to take time to think. Take time to just go in your back or front yard and observe take it all in. :)
